JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Hazleton, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference is accepting applications for a part-time Head Coach in the sport of Women’s Volleyball within the Department of Athletics.

The Head Coach is responsible for practice preparation, player development, gameday coaching, and recruiting. This position requires strict adherence to PSUAC, United States Collegiate Athletic Association and NCAA Division III rules. Primary hours are in-season from August to November, however some off-season work is required. Must be well versed in the sport of volleyball with previous coaching experience preferred. This is a part-time position.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
