JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Location: Berks Campus, Reading, PA
Schedule: Summer 2026 | 4-day or 5-day weekly sessions
Hours: Between 20-35 hours per week depending on assignment
About the Role
We’re looking for energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselors to support our academic day camps. Counselors play a key role in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment while helping students stay curious, motivated, and confident as they learn. Our camps blend academics with hands-on activities, teamwork, and creativity—making learning feel like summer fun.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
