JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Adjunct in Sociology

Penn State Lehigh Valley is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach in person Sociology 1- Introductory Sociology and Sociology 119- Race Ethnicity & Culture starting in the Fall 2026 semester.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification is a master’s degree, or equivalent education and experience
  • Part-time lecturers prepare course lessons, evaluate students, hold regular office hours, and are expected to become proficient with Canvas, the University’s learning management system.
