SUMMARY: 

Directly Supervises/Manages Retail/Replacement Sales Staff, Inside Sales, & Project Coordinator. Reports directly to the Replacement GM and works with other Pella Managers. Responsible for the total team performance and each individual Sales Reps performance in assigned markets to budgeted standards. Runs appointments as needed to maintain proper appointment lead time in assigned markets. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Maintain proper staffing of sales & support personnel in assigned markets. 
  • Spend majority of the time in the field with the Sales Reps. 
  • Train sales process and techniques to Sales Reps. 
  • Ensure that all sales reps have the proper tools to succeed. 
  • Motivate each employee, maintain positive atmosphere, work to eliminate negativity. 
  • Manage sales staff based on Pella Metrics including but not limited to: Sales Volume; Average discount; Yield per opportunity; Average order size; Close %; C.S.R. % Very Satisfied, Returns & Allowances; Order & Pricing accuracy, etc. 
  • Maintain personal Sales Metrics based on the same criteria as the Sales Reps. 
  • Train lead generation to showroom staff. 
  • Manage showroom staff based on but not limited to: Proper capturing of marketing data; Converting contacts to leads; Converting leads to opportunities;
     Proper scheduling of opportunities for optimal coverage; Showroom
     presentation skills; Showroom maintenance, condition, & appearance; etc. 
  • Manage ACE including: Opportunity flow to each rep; Proper & timely follow up of Opportunities; Proper & timely updating of close dates; Proper,
     accurate, & timely resulting of Opportunities in the Pella Direct Website. 
  • Manage Accounts Receivable in assigned markets 
  • Handle customer issues in assigned markets 
  • Track sales data and generate proper sales reports each month/year 
  • Assist with development of yearly sales budgets and business plans 
  • Support and ensure compliance with all Pella Carolina policies 
  • Work with other departments and complete additional task as requested/required by Pella Management 


 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 1 years experience for in-home sales management 
  • 5 years experience in consumer direct sales 
  • Window & Door sales or related building products sales experience 
  • Strong leadership and goals setting skills 
  • Experience in sales training and coaching 
  • Strong computer skills 
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
