Are you in? Primary PurposePRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONReview, interpret, and verify accuracy of internal and external information (i.e. field sketches, job packages, as-built drawings, maps, and associated databases) utilizing PECO Construction Standards, as well as city, state and municipal land base information.
Primary DutiesPRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- Update electric and gas facility maps using Microstation, IrasB, and GIS (G\Tech).
- Utilize Asset Suite 8 to research affected documents (pending map updates) with all associated ECs (engineering changes).
- Verify as-built information by performing field investigations.
- Maintain all CAD drawings for PECO Electric Construction Standards.
- Emergency response support for storms. Storm duties include dispatching screeners or screening to report field conditions, with face-to-face interaction and notification with customers. Also participate in emergency response meetings and drills, review procedures as necessary.
Job ScopeJOB SCOPEPlease note this is union position and all applicants will be hired as a Drafter that will progress to the Senior Drafter title.
Minimum QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Exelon's driving standards.
- Two (2) years' experience - Computer Aided Drafting background and demonstrated experience in Microstation and IrasB.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret as-built sketches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work off hours to respond to system emergencies.

AutoCAD AutoEDMS SolidWorks MicroStation
GE SmallWorld SQL Technical problem -solving
Preferred Certified in MicroStation and IrasB.
Knowledge of Asset Suite 8, ArcGIS, GE Smallworld.
Knowledge of electric and gas distribution systems and demonstrated ability to read distribution prints
