Job DetailsJob Location: 349 4TH AVE SE - CEDAR RAPIDS, IA 52401Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyThe Parking Amenity Ambassador supports the overall customer experience and operational efficiency of Park Cedar Rapids facilities. This role combines customer service, security, and light maintenance duties to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming parking environments. Ambassadors assist with vehicle-related amenities, provide security escorts, and help maintain facility standards. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. This is a driving position that requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet DOT driving standards. Park Cedar Rapids is currently seeking two (2) Full-Time Overnight positions, as well as part-time applicants. Responsibilities Customer Service & Amenities: - Assist parkers with jump-starting vehicles and inflating tires. - Provide personal security escorts when requested. - Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally. Security & Enforcement: - Conduct routine security patrols and lock-ups. - Observe and report safety or security concerns to management. - Assist with enforcement of parking regulations and direct traffic when needed. Facility Maintenance: - Perform light janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. - Assist with snow removal (shoveling, spreading salt/sand). - Support minor maintenance tasks and report facility issues promptly. Event & Operational Support: - Assist with event parking operations and other duties as assigned. QualificationsJob-Specific Requirements - Strong customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. - Physical ability to perform light maintenance tasks and snow removal. - Basic knowledge of vehicle amenities (jump-starts, tire inflation). - Ability to assess situations and make sound decisions. - Must pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Minimum Eligibility Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene. - Reliable attendance and punctuality. - Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Schedule & Pay - Full-time: Approx. 40 hours/week, $15.00–$16.00 per hour. - Part-time: Flexible weekend and overnight shifts available. - Nights and weekends required, rotating shifts possible.
