The Tomahawk Mill is currently seeking resumes for a Purchasing Manager.

 

Principle Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchasing and storeroom functions
  • Ensure compliance with all PCA purchasing policies
  • Buy materials and services, along with identifying alternate sources for cost savings
  • Function as the buyer on POs >$100,000, includes verifying freight, resolving discrepancies, etc.
  • Manage the annual Blanket PO process-quotes, approvals, PO issuance
  • Prepare RFQ’s, bid packages and Master Service Agreements
  • Maintain adequate inventories to ensure no operational disruptions
  • Ensure the accuracy of storeroom transactions
  • Supervise buyers
  • Monitor training of storeroom staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • CPM preferred
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • This position is on-site at the Tomahawk, WI mill and is not remote or hybrid
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Starting salary range for position: $96,000.00 - $120,000.00
  • Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. 
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
