Starting pay is $21.36/hr with an increase to $23.73/hr after successful training plus $0.35 shift differential

 

Paid weekly plus annual bonus

 

AVAILABLE SHIFT:

 

Night Shift 6:40pm to 5:10am

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Set up of Production Equipment including blades.

 

Data entry in the computer to move product through the system. 

 

Ensure a high-quality product is coming off the machine by conducting quality checks to ensure required slit positions, depth, dimensions, labeling, and packaging. 

 

Train and direct temporary employees when needed. 

 

Work to continuously improve set up time, speed, and waste. 

 

Follow all safety rules and policies, make suggestions to improve safety and look out for fellow employees' safety.

 

Assist other departments as needed.

 

Other duties as assigned.

 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

High school diploma or GED.

 

Some industrial experience. 

 

Works well in a team environment.

 

Available to work either day or night shift.  

 

Must be able to work overtime as needed. 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Previous experience operating corrugated printing equipment.

 

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment, with an understanding that temperatures and volumes

.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

 

  • Starting salary for position: $21.36 per hour with an increase to $23.73 after successful training.
  • Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
