Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
Assume active role in overall plant facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
Set-up and operate Bobst machine to produce product according to customer specifications.
Troubleshoot, perform minor repair and preventative maintenance procedures on Bobst machine.
Train Helper, as required.
Performs quality checks as required and takes appropriate corrective action when needed.
Maintains records of production, work in process, as required.
Performs other job related duties as assigned or delegated.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED.
Prior manufacturing experience.
Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Problem solving and troubleshooting.
Working mechanical ability.
Record keeping skills including paper records and computer data input.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Starting salary for position: $18.00 per hour.

What you'll do
- The operator will set up and operate a Bobst machine to produce products according to customer specifications while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing minor repairs, and conducting quality checks.
