Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our consulting team and serve as a fractional resource for clients across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance, and deliver accurate financial reporting while adapting to different client environments.

Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Delivery
Act as an outsourced Accounting Manager for multiple clients, managing their accounting functions and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.
Oversee and execute month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
Identify gaps in accounting processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls for each client engagement.
Collaborate with client teams and internal consultants to deliver high-quality service.
Assist clients with accounting system setup, optimization, and integration.
Provide insights on cash flow, budgeting, and operational improvements.
Serve as a key liaison between the client and internal teams
Support client audits, including coordination with external auditors
Recommend and implement process improvements and accounting system enhancements
Stay updated on accounting standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes
Skills

Ability to adapt quickly to multiple client engagements in different industries and thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.
Experience in consulting or fractional roles preferred.
QualificationsRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or consulting
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Sage, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first attitude
Experience managing and developing accounting teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate possesses leadership and supervisory capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting skills and works proactively to drive results
