We’re looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant / Sterilization Technician to join our team at Academy Dental, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise, patient care, and infection control to help us deliver the highest quality of dentistry in a supportive, professional environment.

Specifics about the role:

• Job Type: Full Time (Part Time may be considered)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (some flexibility)
• Wage: $26 – $34/hour (depending on experience)

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms before and after patient visits
• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to protocols
• Maintain proper functioning and documentation of sterilization equipment
• Organize and restock operatories to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure patients are comfortable and supported throughout their visit
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials
• Support front desk operations as needed (scheduling, check-in, records)
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred) with knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a busy schedule
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit, team-oriented environment
• Comfort with dental software and Microsoft Office is an asset
