We are seeking a Project Materials Supervisor to be accountable for the material flow and inventory management across our build and integration sites. This role ensures timely availability of materials to support manufacturing processes, maintains accurate ERP data, and collaborates with multiple departments to achieve project goals.

As a Project Materials Supervisor, you will oversee material flow and inventory management across build and integration sites to ensure timely support for manufacturing processes. You’ll lead and develop a team of material coordinators, handlers, and crib attendants, maintain accurate ERP data, and manage vendor-supplied inventory. This role requires strategic collaboration with Project Management and Supply Chain to meet project timelines, resolve material challenges, and ensure compliance with customer specifications. Additional responsibilities include facilitating material movement between facilities, leading audits, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring safety, adherence to company policies, and on-time project completion.

Work location: Ryan Road, Warren, MI

Work type: On-site at local Paslin locations.  Not available for remote work.

Expected hours of work: Typical work schedules for this site are 6am-230pm, Monday to Friday.

Overtime: This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.

Travel: This position may require occasional travel to customer sites or local travel to other Paslin locations.

Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing site environment.  This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. This role requires the use of hand operated tools and machine controls. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs.

Direct Reports: Material Coordination teams at multiple sites, others as assigned

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, engineering or MIS preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing in a similar role, 2 years of leadership 
• Proficiency with ERP systems (AX preferred)
• Knowledge of safety best practices for material movement including powered industrial trucks and cranes, Hazcom/SDS, and general industry safety standards. (OSHA 30 hour certification is a plus)
