- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
The Scheduler arranges appointments for surgical and non-surgical procedures along with pre-surgical testing for various specialties.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years’ experience in a hospital or physician practice setting.
- Understanding and use of Electronic Health Record (EMR).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and attention to detail.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree.
- Certified Scheduling Technician (CST).
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
