Get to Know Your Team:
- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
- The Telemetry RN provides direct and continuous nursing care to adult patients who require cardiac monitoring due to acute or chronic conditions.
- This RN monitors telemetry rhythms, responds to cardiac changes, and collaborates with the care team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused care.
- The RN also plays a key role in patient education, health promotion, and discharge planning.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
2+ years of experience in an acute care hospital setting, 6months or more in telemetry or progressive unit.
New Jersey RN License.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree of science in nursing
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
