Get to Know Your Team:
- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
- The Manager Nursing serves as the clinical leader responsible for operations and management of the OR.
- This position assumes responsibility for shift operations such as making appropriate assignments, coordinating care, resolving issues, functioning as the resource nurse, participating in staffing decisions, rounding on patients, and maintaining TJC compliance.
- The Mgr Nursing also assumes long range responsibilities such as employee evaluations, corrective action, business/budget planning, and performance improvement.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of inpatient operating room/hospital setting experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
