About the Role
Own the finance engine, end-to-end. You’ll set the cadence, run the numbers, file the VAT, and give leadership the clarity to move fast — across multiple countries.
What you’ll do
- Run the rhythm: Prepare and lead Weekly Business Reviews with real insights, variance calls, actions, and follow-through.
- Own the books: Full GL, AP/AR, invoicing, contractor validation, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Report with precision: Monthly/quarterly financials (P&L, BS, CF) and investor-ready packs that tell the story behind the numbers.
- EU compliance: Manage VAT in the EU; handle statutory filings under Luxembourg and other EU jurisdictions ( timely, accurate).
- Forecast & advise: Build cashflow, budgets, and scenarios that drive decisions on hiring, spend, and runway.
- Build the system: Design lightweight controls, dashboards, and workflows that scale as we grow.
