Position Summary:
The Parking Concierge oversees daily parking lot operations, ensuring accurate vehicle tracking, revenue collection, and exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include conducting audits, managing inventory, issuing violations, and supporting business development efforts. This role also maintains safety, cleanliness, and compliance while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment and delivering friendly, reliable assistance to guests, staff, and partners.


Primary Objective:
The Parking Concierge manages daily operations of assigned parking lots, ensuring accurate vehicle tracking, revenue collection, and outstanding customer service. This role oversees audits, monitors inventory, enforces policies, and supports business development, while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance. The Parking Concierge fosters a positive team environment and provides friendly, reliable support to guests, staff, and partners.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lot Operations and Auditing: 
Conduct regular parking lot walks, issue tickets, and perform audits and car counts to ensure accurate vehicle tracking and compliance with parking procedures. Maintain proper and timely vehicle inventory in line with company standards and issue violations, conversion communications, and citations as needed.


Revenue and Reporting: 
Oversee money collection, complete accurate log reports of arrivals and operational data, and submit detailed shift reports that reflect tickets issued, money received, and all related paperwork to ensure transparency and accountability.


Customer Service: 
Assist customers during payment transactions, including handling cash payments, and providing friendly, helpful service. Address guest needs promptly while maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude always.


Facility and Work Area Maintenance: 
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parking lot, attendance booth, and all surrounding areas through regular housekeeping and janitorial duties, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for both guests and staff while supporting the overall presentation and operational success of the site.


Teamwork and Communication: 
Maintain clear, professional communication with guests, team members, and partner businesses. Foster a cooperative work environment by building strong relationships with coworkers, other departments, and business partners.


Appearance and Professionalism: 
Adhere to PMC's standards of appearance, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag, and ensuring no visible tattoos. Maintain a high level of personal grooming and always present a professional image.


Safety and Compliance: 
Follow all PMC policies and safety regulations to promote secure and efficient parking operations. Ensure regular monitoring of parking areas to support guest and employee safety.


Attendance and Work Ethic: 
Maintain reliable attendance in alignment with business needs and scheduling requirements. Approach every interaction with a warm, friendly demeanor, and uphold PMC's values through attentive, courteous, and proactive service.


Additional Responsibilities: 
Support evolving business needs by completing other tasks as assigned, attending required meetings and training, and maintaining schedule flexibility.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Customer service experience preferred; customer service attitude and a willing, helpful demeanor is mandatory.


Certificates and Licenses: 
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for this role, along with maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within a three-year period. Candidates must also pass and maintain a clean background check. No special certifications are necessary for this position.


Hospitality, Customer Service and Communication: 
Provide exceptional guest service through professional communication, active listening, and personalized assistance, creating a welcoming and memorable experience that aligns with company standards and fosters a positive environment for guests and team members.


Luggage Handling and Safety: 
Handle guest luggage safely and efficiently, ensuring belongings are transported with care and discretion. Maintain confidentiality, follow proper storage procedures, and ensure luggage is organized, secure, and easily retrievable.


Physical Demands: 
Must have the stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods, often in varied weather conditions, while maintaining a professional appearance and following uniform and grooming standards. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required to support guest needs and hotel operations.
 

Work Environment: 
Work in both indoor and outdoor settings, collaborating with teams, vendors, and clients in on-site and corporate environments. Regularly use computers, communicate by phone, and work around parking facilities with exposure to weather conditions and noisy environments with moving vehicles.

 

Cell Phone Use
Employees may be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication, including coordination with team members, managers, and clients, as well as accessing work applications. Reimbursement for work-related phone usage will follow company policy.

Employee at Will
Employment with PMC is on an at-will basis, meaning either the employee or the employer may end the employment relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable laws. A 120-day introductory period applies.


Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning employees in this role are not eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek at a rate of one and one-half times their regular hourly rate. PMC adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local wage and overtime laws, ensuring that compensation complies with these legal standards. All hourly rates will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements for your specific work location.
