Job DetailsJob Location: Park Locations Vary Depending Upon the Camp - Park Ridge, IL 60068Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly Description: We are seeking Camp Counselors who will organize, lead, participate and supervise campers ages 3 and up. The Camp Counselor helps maintain current and accurate records relative to all aspects of the camp, including attendance, participant information, and time sheets. Camp location and age of participants will vary based on selected camp. Selected individual needs to be at least 16 years of age.
Qualifications: Individuals must have experience and knowledge leading youth activities. Priority will be given to individuals with previous camp experience and knowledge of camp related activities.
Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) or currently enrolled in a state approved high school program
Availability: We are seeking applicants to work approximately 10 to 35 hours per week. Hours will vary based on selected camp. Training begins May 28 with camp beginning June 8 and running through August 21. Daily start and end times vary per camp. Example of shifts include:
8:45am – 3:15pm Monday - Friday
8:45am – 3:15pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8:45am – 3:15pm Tuesday, Thursday
8:45am – 1:30pm Monday - Friday
8:45am – 1:30pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8:45am – 1:30pm Tuesday, Thursday
