HealthPartners is hirng a Senior Real Estate Specialist. The Senior Real Estate Specialist serves as a key subject matter expert and primary contact for all real estate contracting activities within an assigned portfolio for HealthPartners. This role is responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing contract terms, conditions, modifications, and incentives, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The position oversees the full contract lifecycle, including execution, issue resolution, dispute mediation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
In addition, the Senior Specialist coordinates and implements a comprehensive property management program across HealthPartners’ facilities, ensuring cost-effective operations and high-quality clinical and office environments. The role also supports strategic real estate initiatives for HealthPartners and its affiliates, partnering closely with senior leadership to facilitate planning, negotiations, and implementation of both existing and new space needs. Proficiency in regulatory requirements and compliance standards—such as STARK and Anti-Trust regulations—is essential.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Facilities Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, property management, or real estate contract administration.
Experience working within a healthcare system or large multi-site organization.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing real estate contracts, including lease agreements and service contracts.
Strong knowledge of real estate principles, property management practices, and legal terminology related to contracts.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a diverse portfolio.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare real estate or facilities management.
Master’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards such as STARK and Anti-Kickback requirements in healthcare facilities.
Experience with strategic planning and implementation of real estate initiatives.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Certification such as CCIM, CPM, or RPA is a plus.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Must have and maintain a current Minnesota Real Estate license.

Participate in the selection and oversight of brokers, attorneys, consultants, and contractors for leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, project management and development projects.
Ensure compliance with employment law, regulatory standards, and internal policies in all real estate-related activities.
