Multi Modality Imaging Technologists must work competently and independently in at least 2 out of 3 of the following modalities:
• General X Ray (X Ray, Fluoro, Surgery, Portables, and OR)
• CT
• MRI
Staff not regularly scheduled in both areas are expected to pick up shifts when needed. Failure to pick up reasonable amounts of shifts could result in loss of Multi Modality Imaging pay.
Multi Modality pay rate does not become effective until registered in both modalities where shifts will be scheduled.
Work Schedule: .6 FTE 24 hours weekly; Evening hours (8 hours)- Some Monday, and Friday shifts. Every other Tuesday (May be either 3p-11:30p) or (3:30p-12a-midnight). Every other weekend 12 hours (7a-7:30p) and Holidays 2-3 per year (12 hours)
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved school in Radiologic Technology
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in MRI within 1 year, if working in this modality (MR)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)in CT within 1 year, if working in this modality (CT)
Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
