We are currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP I) who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in meaningful, everyday ways.


What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you play a hands-on role in supporting residents throughout their daily routines while promoting independence and quality of life.

  • Provide direct care and supervision throughout the shift
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and dining
  • Support residents with daily living skills and personal goals
  • Implement behavior and skill-building programs
  • Facilitate leisure activities and community outings
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized living environment
  • Accurately document services in accordance with Parc policy and state requirements
  • Assist with meal preparation and kitchen duties when needed

Requirements

  

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to complete required APD training
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Parc driver’s license
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
  • CNA or Med Tech certification a plus
  • One year of experience required in some residential homes
  • This position requires screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Learn more at https://info.flclearinghouse.com 

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
  • Ability to remain physically, visually, and audibly aware of residents’ needs
  • Comfortable working in a residential group home environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing

Hours & Salary

  • Saturday to Wednesday 2:00PM - 10:00PM
  • $17.00 per hour
