About this role

Papaya is a leading force in the mobile gaming industry.

We are looking for a highly analytical and curious Marketing Analyst to join our growing Marketing Department.

In this role, you will work closely with performance marketing, product, and analytics stakeholders to uncover insights behind the data, support decision-making, and continuously improve marketing performance across our game portfolio.


Responsibilities

Marketing Performance Analysis

  • Analyze user acquisition, retargeting, and monetization performance across channels, campaigns, and creatives.
  • Track and evaluate key marketing KPIs such as CPI, ROAS, LTV, retention, and conversion rates.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers to support campaign optimization and budget allocation.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on campaign performance, cohort behavior, and funnel drop-offs.
  • Support A/B testing and experiment analysis to measure impact and improve marketing effectiveness

Business Insights & Decision Support

  • Present findings and recommendations to performance managers and other stakeholders in an actionable, clear, and concise manner.
  • Support strategic and operational decisions with data-driven insights.

Data & Reporting

  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker).
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability for marketing stakeholders.
  • Work with large datasets to create reliable and scalable reporting solutions.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate closely with marketing managers, product teams, and other analysts.
  • Continuously improve analysis methodologies, reporting standards, and measurement frameworks.
  • Stay up to date with marketing analytics best practices, tools, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Education: B.A. / B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Experience: 3–4 years in a Marketing Analytics or data-driven role, preferably within Mobile Gaming.
  • SQL: Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
  • BI & Visualization: Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Marketing Tech (Advantage): Familiarity with mobile attribution platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust) and digital marketing data structures - strong plus.
  • Statistical Tools (Advantage): Experience with Python or R for analysis is a strong plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business orientation and understanding of marketing funnels and KPIs.
