Responsibilities

 

Execution & Delivery

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize product features based on business needs.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Identify and document project requirements, risks, and assumptions.

  • Track project performance to ensure successful completion of short- and long-term goals.

  • Meet budget objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.

Backlog Management

  • Own the team backlog, including story prioritization, quality, and readiness.

  • Translate business features into technical tasks in collaboration with Product Management.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, system demos, retrospectives, and other team events.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and successes through regular reports and meetings.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and manage expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally a developer who has grown into a project manager role.

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI concepts, wireframes, and design elements.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and adapt to change.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of overall experience with at least 3+ years of relevant professional project management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, or another technical (STEM) field OR 9 years of experience in an engineering project delivery role in lieu of a degree.

  • Agile certifications (CSM, CSPO, APM, SSM).

  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification.

  • Exposure to Linux systems.

  • Experience with in-flight entertainment (preferred).
