We provide homeowners with financial products to benefit from solar power, energy storage systems, and home efficiency through advanced heating and cooling technologies. We empower solar and HVAC sales professionals and installation companies with access to our proprietary platform, financing, customer management system, and milestone quality control system. Our #1 focus is a phenomenal experience for our customers and partners, evidenced in our growing financial product adoption.</p> <p><strong>Location</strong></p> <p>This position will be based in Charlotte, NC</p> <p><strong>Reporting</strong></p> <p>This position will report to the Quality Control Program Manager, Solar</p> <p><strong>Summary of Role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Quality Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day programmatic execution and efficiency of our internal milestone review process. This role focuses on ensuring the technical, process and policy aspects of project reviews are well researched and informed, consistent and reflective of business needs and that QC Team members are properly trained. You will work closely with the Program Manager to refine internal processes, support the QC Technician team, and ensure our partners have a smooth and predictable experience to support the goal of a 25-year useful solar asset life. You will be the hands-on extension of the Technical Quality Program Manager, helping to identify and solve internal and partner challenges both remotely and in the field.</p> <p><strong>Strategic &amp; Tactical</strong></p> <p><em>Programmatic (90%)</em></p> <ul> <li>Initiative Execution: Perform the neccessary research, outreach, documentation and communication work necessary for supporting the Program Manager in executing initiatives.</li> <li>Throughput &amp; Data Analysis: Track and report on key metrics such as milestone approval rates, rejection reasons, and review speed. Work with the Program Manager to analyze trends and identify opportunities for process refinement.</li> <li>Internal Training &amp; Support: Assist in creating and maintaining training materials and SOPs for the internal LightReach Quality Control Technician team. Act as a subject matter expert for the team to help resolve complex cases.</li> <li>Partner Communication: Support an excellent partner experience by managing feedback platforms and ensuring the timely resolution of project rejections.</li> <li>Process Improvement: Help identify and surface system blockers, bugs, or potential enhancements to the technology platform to improve efficiency for both internal teams and external partners.</li> <li>Knowledge Base Management: Assist in maintaining and expanding the EPC knowledge base to ensure partners have access to the latest standards and best practices.</li> <li>Project Review Support &amp; Execution: Maintain an intimate working knowledge of project reviews with the intent of process improvement and iteration. When required in service of attaining volumetric or SLA targets, perform project reviews.</li> </ul> <p><em>Quality Control Throughput (10%)</em></p> <ul> <li>Quality Control Reviews: Perform desktop QC reviews of project milestones submitted by installers to ensure compliance with company standards. Step in to support review throughput during periods of high volume.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role.</li> <li>1+ years of experience in a role involving training, quality control, or partner support.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret construction plans and electrical line diagrams.</li> <li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred.</li> <li>You have a passion for residential solar construction best practices and enjoy sharing your knowledge.</li> <li>Excellent communicator, capable of providing clear, constructive feedback to technical partners.</li> <li>Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to travel up to 30-40% to partner locations and job sites.</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and adapt.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.&nbsp;</em></p> <p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Palmetto embraces diversity and is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
