This role is offered as a 14 month fixed term contract. Candidates should only apply if they are available to start in March 2026.
As AVP Strategy for PL Re (Division) you will partner with the PL Re leadership team and key stakeholders to develop and execute the strategy for the Division. You will play a key role in driving strategic planning and execution of strategic initiatives, as well as supporting the CEO of PL Re and the PL Re Executive Committee in successfully delivering on the strategy day-to-day.
You will own the Division-wide annual strategic planning process and support the quarterly reporting of progress against the strategy, ensuring alignment with Enterprise processes. This will involve significant collaboration with stakeholders across the Line of Business and Functions within PL Re and Pacific Life as a whole to ensure successful execution. As part of the PL Re Strategy team you will support our strategic intelligence capability, including tracking market trends, competitor and client actions, innovation and new technology and ad hoc strategic research. You will support the execution of strategic initiatives across Lines of Business and Functions and collaborate with the Project Management team on any Division-wide projects.
In this role you will be a key member of a strong and diverse team and will gain wide exposure across Pacific Life Re and Pacific Life. The role will provide opportunities for significant influence across the business.
