Position Summary

Support department and/or line of business system needs. Identify and implement process and system improvements, manage communications, coordinate and deliver trainings for essential business procedures/processes, and drive employee engagement using new resources and tools.

 

To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

 

Majority of work will be performed in PG&E office setting with some travel for meetings and trainings. Travel required up to 20% of the time (non-hybrid, not home based). Valid CA drivers license required; subject to PG&E and NRC required pre-employment background and drug testing.  This position may require supporting outage roles, Emergency Response Organization.


PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

 

A reasonable salary range is:
California Minimum: $90,000
California Maximum: $136,000

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Use system and personnel resources to successfully address inquiries from internal business partners
  • Manage communications
  • Develop internal work procedures and initiate process improvements
  • Assist Management with the leadership of key department initiatives such as system development, training and focused campaigns/initiatives
  • Liaison between various departments and cross functional teams
  • Influence decisions, providing recommendations for change that will lead to the success of company goals and cost effectiveness
  • Research and data analysis; compile and prepare reports for upper management
  • Create and maintain trending data metrics to understand employee feedback and guide management resources  
  • Utilize system and personnel resources to successfully address inquiries from internal business partners
  • Support organization as a subject matter expert by providing information and direction to resources through various delivery channels
  • Design and execute employee and community engagement events
  • Develop and manage trainings to enhance knowledge and job skills
  • Participate on cross functional teams 

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 5 years
  • Valid CA drivers license required

 

Desired:

  • Ability to lead teams
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations at the Manager level
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office
