We are hiring for a Quality Inspector for a 12-month FTC who will report into the Quality Manager.  The Quality Inspector will prevent non-conforming material reaching our customers and interrupting OI Andor’s production lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and inspecting products/components to ensure they meet quality criteria.

 

Whilst previous experience as a quality inspector in a manufacturing environment is desirable, the successful candidate will receive training to carry out both visual and dimensional inspection activities to the appropriate quality standard and complete reporting documentation.

 

The Quality Inspector will have:

 

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English (grade C or above)
  • 2 years relevant experience in a high-tech production environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Good manual dexterity required for handling/manipulation of small / delicate components
