Maintenance Lead

We are looking for a Maintenance Lead for our Parainen stone wool plant. The Maintenance Lead is accountable for developing, leading, and executing best‑in‑class mid‑ and long‑term maintenance strategies, processes, and programs. This role ensures equipment reliability, drives loss elimination, and directly supports the performance and growth of the facility.

Main targets are:

• Leads the mechanical, electrical, and automation teams.
• Responsible for supervising, training, developing, and engaging both primary maintenance employees and the salaried maintenance staff.
• Strong leadership across departmental boundaries to enable the safe production of high‑quality products at the lowest possible cost while maintaining full environmental compliance.
• Champion a zero‑incident safety culture by embedding EHS, SIF prevention, and disciplined risk controls into all maintenance and operational activities in full alignment with company standards.
• Develop and execute the plant maintenance and capital strategy to ensure long‑term asset reliability, energy efficiency, and strong financial performance aligned with business objectives.
• Lead TPM‑based maintenance execution, leveraging preventive and predictive strategies, root‑cause analysis, and data‑driven decision‑making to maximize equipment uptime and reduce operating costs.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing maintenance organization through effective staffing, skills development, certification management, and succession planning.
• Act as an influential plant and network leader who aligns teams, communicates clear expectations and performance metrics, shares best practices, and drives world‑class manufacturing standards.

We consider the following experience an advantage:

• Maintenance leadership experience (2–5 years) in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
• Fluency in Finnish and English
• Swedish is considered an advantage
