Location: Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the U.S.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

About The Program:

 

During the summer term, you will be placed as an EHS Intern at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant for 12 weeks. You will be mentored and gain technical experience through value added projects throughout this period. Projects will give you hands-on technical experience addressing safety, environmental, and or health challenges depending on manufacturing site demands. In addition to learning and applying Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) Methodology the internship will cover the following topics: 

 

  • Safety
  • Site health & wellness
  • Case management & investigations
  • Environmental & Sustainability

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Management or an equivalent field
  • Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
  • Willingness and flexibility to relocate
