<p>We are looking for robotics experts to bring off-road autonomy in challenging terrain to a growing fleet of ground vehicles.</p>
<h4 class="container-medium"><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></h4>
<ul class="container-small">
<li class="li1"><strong>Deploy autonomy in the real world</strong>: Integrate the OverDrive autonomy stack onto hardware platforms for delivery to customers.</li>
<li class="li1">Contribute to the autonomy stack: Identify gaps in performance, propose solutions, and implement in collaboration with other teams.</li>
<li class="li1">Design and develop tools to efficiently deploy the OverDrive autonomy stack onto a suite of robotic vehicles.</li>
<li class="li1">Lead field test campaigns to evaluate and/or demonstrate the OverDrive autonomy stack on real platforms in challenging off-road terrain.</li>
<li class="li1">Think broadly about overall system performance and interactions between various components present in an autonomous vehicle.</li>
<li class="li1">Collaborate throughout Overland: Bridge the gap between business development and core R&D teams to deliver effective autonomy to customers.</li>
</ul>
<h3 class="container-medium"><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul class="container-small">
<li class="li1"><strong>Strong technical background: </strong>Bachelors, M.S.,<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>or Ph.D. in computer science, robotics, or related field.</li>
<li class="li1">Experience working with robotics systems including familiarity with ROS and/or ROS 2.</li>
<li class="li1">Experience developing with C++ and Python in a Linux environment</li>
<li class="li1">Analytical thinking and scientific mindset: The ability to rapidly troubleshoot issues, design and carry out diagnostic experiments, and thoughtfully interpret experimental results</li>
<li class="list-item-3"><strong>Field-test forward:<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></strong>You are passionate about building systems that work in the real world: despite rain, snow, and mud.</li>
<li class="list-item-3">Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></li>
<li class="list-item-3">Ability to relocate to Seattle, WA.</li>
