Do you want to make a meaningful contribution to the hospital and the community by making a difference in people’s lives?
Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is now accepting applications for Hospital Volunteers. Hospital Volunteers are key to helping Overlake provide exceptional service to our patients and visitors by providing both behind the scenes and public facing support.
Current assignments available depend on hospital needs:
Concierge Desk Volunteering
- Provide a welcoming presence, information, wayfinding and transportation when applicable to patients, families and guests.
Transport Volunteering
- Provide escorts and transporting patients in wheelchairs from admitting to surgery, clinical areas and patients discharging from units.
Clinical Unit Volunteering
- Provide support to the clinical team on the unit. Providing rounding in patient rooms, preparing admissions packets, restocking supplies, helping to deliver patient meals, etc.
A typical volunteer shift is 4 hours long and between the hours of 8AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday.
Please note that there are no weekend or evening volunteer assignments available.
