We are looking for a new colleague to join our Compliance Directorate as a Sanctions Compliance Advisor.

We count on you in these tasks:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of banking transactions to ensure compliance with UN, EU, US, UK, and other sanctions regulations, and prepare related compliance opinions;
• Support decision-making processes related to international sanctions and measures aimed at safeguarding the reputation of the OTP Bank Group;
• Monitor international sanctions regulations on an ongoing basis;
• Perform legal research on sanctions-related matters;
• Carry out and/or assist with international sanctions risk assessments;
• Providing additional support to the Bank’s business activities and the work of the Sanctions and Embargoes Compliance Department.  

You are welcome to apply if you have:

• International experience in banking compliance, anti-money laundering, or internal audit;
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
• Genuine interest in international affairs, particularly economic sanctions;
• Advanced English proficiency for daily use (both written and spoken);
• Relevant professional certification (e.g. ICA, ICOMS, CAMS) is considered an advantage;
• Experience in banking, financial law, corporate law, or other relevant areas is an advantage;
• A law degree is considered an asset.
