Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking for a In-Process Quality Control Inspectors to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience monitoring, inspecting, and verifying product quality during the manufacturing process. This role ensures that materials and in-process manufacturing meet established standards and specifications requirements before moving to the next stage of production.


Responsibilities

  • Utilizing a microscope, verify that products meet or exceed manufacturing guidelines.
  • Record inspection results accurately in quality logs, travelers, and computer systems. Report non-conformances and deviations promptly to supervisors, production managers, and quality engineers. Maintain traceability of inspected products and materials. Perform First Article review.
  • Work closely with production managers to identify and resolve quality issues. Provide feedback to operators and supervisors on corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 1+ years of flexible printed circuit board manufacturing experience required.
  • Work experience in cross section preparation and analysis desired.
  • Must be familiar with microscope and laboratory procedures in manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and measurement techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Must know computer data entry and microscope operation
