Responsibilities

Good Knowledge and working experience in all types of Component attributes / selection.
- BoM Scrub, FFF Alternates suggestion, Life-cycle and Obsolescence Management.
- Identify Product Life-cycle, Obsolete, EOL, Compliance, Supply-Chain issues and suggest alternates.
- Sound working knowledge in RoHS/REACh/Conflict Minerals and other Chemical compliance Regulations (IMDS, PFOS, TSCA, DecaBDE etc).
- Strong working experience in recommending Electrical, Electronics and Electro-Mechanical alternates for all threats.
- Review, understand and process PCN/ECNs internally.
- Loading BoMs to Sourcing Tools like Quotewin for RFQ and process the data on regular basis.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively by telephone, correspondence, and in person.
- Coordinates assigned project with engineering and RFQ team to assure accurate and timely delivery.
- Manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet expected timelines.
- Communicate with sales and reps for any missing proposal information and follow-ups.
- Review and analyze material costs, routings, labour, custom tooling, and all other cost aspects of quotes.
- Assist with various other duties as assigned like BOM preparation/comparisons and data management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on environmental matters.

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated and possessing the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
