- Good Knowledge and working experience in all types of Component attributes / selection.
- Prepare and submit documentation such as SCIP notifications, SVHC declarations, RoHS/REACH certificates, and TSCA/Prop 65 disclosures.
- Evaluate components and materials against restricted substance lists and maintain internal compliance databases and document control systems.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in IMDS tool, in creating, submitting, and analyzing Material Data Sheets (MDS) and collaborating with suppliers to ensure data accuracy and compliance and delivering final IMDS report to end customer IDs.
- Effective communication with international suppliers to collect, validate, and submit accurate material data.
- Understanding of regulatory lists within IMDS, such as GADSL (Global Automotive Declarable Substance List), SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern), and Conflict Minerals, and how to apply them in IMDS.
- Identifying and resolving errors and warnings in IMDS data, effectively communicating with relevant parties to address issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.
- BoM Scrub, FFF Alternates suggestion, Life-cycle and Obsolescence Management.
- Identify Product Life-cycle, Obsolete, EOL, Compliance, Supply-Chain issues and suggest alternates.
- Sound working knowledge in RoHS/REACh/Conflict Minerals and other Chemical compliance Regulations (IMDS, PFOS, TSCA, DecaBDE etc).
- Review, understand and process PCN/ECNs internally.
- Assist with various other duties as assigned like BOM preparation/comparisons and data management.
Proficient in Excel, Access and D-365 Utilities
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Motivated and possessing the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Qualification: Engineering in Chemicals, E & C
Experience: 5+ yrs
