JOB SUMMARY:
Pratt Miller is looking for a qualified candidate for a Quality Technician III position to perform inspections, reverse engineering, and other measurements in support of programs throughout the phases of our product development lifecycle from prototype through low-volume production in an ISO 9001 certified engineering and manufacturing environment. A successful Quality Technician III will work with the manufacturing and engineering teams to provide the data needed to support their job functions and can perform most essential functions or skills with little to no guidance. In addition to the internal team, this position will interact with external suppliers to communicate quality issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
• Dimensional inspection of parts to engineering drawings and/or CAD models.
• Creation of ballooned engineering drawings/inspection report templates.
• Create, compile, and maintain inspection records and other required documentation.
• Examine incoming parts and documentation to confirm correct specifications and established standards are met.
• Interface internally and with suppliers to give feedback on part quality issues.
• Part numbering and traceability.
• Reverse engineering measurement.
• Non-destructive testing of parts.
• Communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and written.
• Proficient with Windows based computers and MS software such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Able to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment specializing in quality/inspection.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experienced with using 3D CAD based measurements tools, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gauges, and other metrology equipment.
• Solid foundational knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and experience with GD&T symbols.
• Be a team player.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload to meet deadlines.
• Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation).
• Have great attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and pride in their work.
