Expected pay for this position is $34.01 - $50.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Superintendent has ownership of all construction operations in the field as it relates to the specific project’s safety, quality, schedule, cost, project reporting, trade partner, and client relationships. It is the project superintendent’s responsibility to manage all construction operations while upholding the Pointcore culture. Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School diploma/GED
  • 5 years of experience in commercial construction or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proof of completion of the OSHA 10-hour training.
  • Licensure/Certification: First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Active state driver's license.

 

Other Skills/Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead field operations.
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations (OSHA).
  • Ability to review and update project schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Basic technology skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excels in blueprint reading.
  • Effective participation in team environment.
  • General understanding of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) requirements.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or architecture related fields.
  • 10 years of experience in healthcare construction, commercial construction, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) Certification(s)

 

Other Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
  • Ability to build project schedules in Microsoft project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead BIM and Lean practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
