Expected pay for this position is $27.26 - $32.06/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Neurodiagnostic Technologist - Unregistered performs high quality electroencephalograms (EEG) on patients. This includes, but is not limited to, routine, continuous, and complex recordings. The technologist is responsible for ensuring complete and accurate data collection during EEG recording. Excellent patient service skills are required to facilitate the best possible patient experience for patients and family. An exceptional degree of attention to detail and documentation is required to ensure high quality recording for Physician interpretation, diagnosis, and facilitation of treatment/plan of care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/ GED
Must be enrolled in accredited neurodiagnostic program or willing to enroll within 12 months of hire.
Experience: One year in patient care or customer service environment
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Competent functioning in electronic medical record (EMR).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Completion of an accredited neurodiagnostic program.
Experience: 1 year of work in EEG field, working knowledge of the 10-20 measuring system Licensure/ Certification: American Heart Association CPR
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Working knowledge of brain wave patterns
