Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

UNIT OVERVIEW:
The Digital Hospital delivers inpatient care through a combination of telehealth services and in-person home visits. Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) play a crucial role in providing care within the patients' homes, involving tasks such as transporting necessary items and supplies. This includes drawing labs from patients and delivering them to the main lab for processing. PCTs may also be responsible for picking up meals and delivering them to patients, as well as retrieving medications from the pharmacy and delivering them to patient homes. To facilitate their responsibilities, PCTs are equipped with fleet cars and must possess a valid driver's license. Additionally, they undergo phlebotomy training as part of their preparation for the role.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Home Care Aide is under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and in accordance with a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort to patients in a variety of settings. The Home Care aide travels to patient homes and provides in-home care to assigned patients daily. The care provided must be age appropriate and the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patients are to be met.
