Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:
- 3rd Shift: $2.25/hour
- Weekend: $1.75/hour
SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!
- $600 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment.
- Must be of legal age to sign a contract, which is at least 18 years old, to be eligible for a sign on bonus. Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

UNIT OVERVIEW:
Welcome to Adult Heart Unit! Our unit is unique as we have both Stepdown and ICU within our unit. Our patient experience includes, but not limited to, Heart transplants, open heart procedures, STEMI, unstable angina, N-STEMI, Cardiogenic Shock, Targeted Temperature Management, Advanced heart failure, TAVRs, Ablations, Watchmen Procedure, Mitral clip, Micras, TEVARs, any and every cardiac related events requiring ICU and Stepdown care. Devices within our unit include IABPs, Impellas, Swan Ganz, ECMO, External Pacemakers, CRRT, LVADs. If you are looking for the best work family, teamwork, and learning environment, look no further! POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
- CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED Experience
- Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
- Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
