We're looking for a Senior IT Consultant that sits within our Operations Efficiency team, where we design and implement cutting-edge solutions to streamline, optimize, and digitize day-to-day business operations. Our technology empowers companies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability across three key areas:
- Distribution: Optimize logistics processes, strengthen customer relationships, and boost sales opportunities while reducing environmental impact with our end-to-end last-mile distribution solution.
- Maintenance: Equip maintenance, asset, and reliability teams with data-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency, increase asset availability, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) while cutting costs.
- Service: Deliver 360° Field Service Excellence with an all-in-one service management platform that maximizes resource efficiency, improves first-time fix rates, enhances customer satisfaction, and reduces energy, waste, and emissions.
As a Senior IT Consultant, you will play a key role in advising, implementing, and optimizing these solutions for our clients, ensuring seamless digital transformation and operational success.
This role is based in either our Mannheim or Munich offices, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, with three days a week in the office, ensuring the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility. There will also be travel requirements in the DACH region (20%).

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior IT Consultant at osapiens, you will be at the forefront of implementing our cutting-edge solutions for maintenance and field service operations. You’ll work closely with customers, guiding them from initial requirements gathering through system implementation, integration, and post-launch support, ensuring smooth adoption and long-term success. This role blends functional expertise, technical know-how, and strategic consulting, with SAP integration experience being a strong plus.
- Leading IT projects end-to-end, ensuring they stay on track, on budget, and aligned with business goals, while keeping management and stakeholders informed throughout the process.
- Understanding customer challenges and business needs, define clear requirements, and ensure processes are mapped effectively to our solutions, documented in a clear business blueprint.
- Breaking down project scope into actionable tasks, configuring systems to meet customer needs, and coordinate any necessary custom developments with the team.
- Overseeing testing, including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the system functions correctly before go-live.
- Guiding customers through the go-live process, providing support during the transition, and ensuring smooth post-implementation stabilization.
- Implementing solutions across both SAP and non-SAP environments, working with businesses of various sizes, industries, and global markets.

Your Experience
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Project Management, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong experience in IT Consulting and Project Management, preferably in the supply chain, logistics, or related industries.
- Proven track record in managing complex IT projects and successfully delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance, field service, or last-mile distribution; familiarity with SAP products is a plus.
- Experience working with the latest technologies and best practices in IT solutions, with a focus on system integration and process optimization.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for engaging with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience in SAP integration projects and deep knowledge of relevant SAP modules will be a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) and the ability to drive project governance and reporting processes.
- Fluent in English (C1) and proficiency in German (B2).
