What You’ll Do
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be a key contributor to patient care by:
- Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Performing nuclear medicine, PET, SPECT, and SPECT/CT procedures
- Processing, enhancing, and preparing images for physician interpretation
- Completing all computer acquisition, processing, and documentation
- Participating in radiopharmacy duties
- Ensuring compliance with Florida Department of Health, Radiation Control
- Performing venipuncture and evaluating IV access
- Supporting the corporate ALARA Radiation Safety Program
- Maintaining safety, quality standards, and consistent attendance
If dual certified (RT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)):
You may also perform CT imaging in accordance with guidelines or physician orders.
Education & Training
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Licensure & Certifications
Must meet ONE of the following:
- CNMT certification (NMTCB)
- ARRT (N) – Nuclear Medicine
Must meet ALL of the following:
- Current Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
Experience
- No prior experience required
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment, imaging procedures, and radiation safety is required

- 10‑hour shifts
- Wednesday–Saturday
- Lake Mary and East Orlando Imaging Center locations
