Human Resources Generalist (Ambulatory)

Location: Downtown Orlando, Ambulatory Care | Fully onsite, M-F

 

Position Summary:


The HR Generalist provides comprehensive Human Resources support to team members and leaders across the site. This role serves as a trusted advisor, guiding team members through HR processes, supporting engagement and retention initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The HR Generalist plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and delivering exceptional HR service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison for the team member lifecycle, including performance management, recognition, recruitment, benefits, learning and development, and employee relations.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Partner with site leadership to develop HR strategies that drive engagement, retention, and business results.
  • Deliver training programs and support engagement events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
  • Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to leaders and team members.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with dispute resolution requests.
  • Utilize people analytics, KPIs, and dashboards to identify and address workforce opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (or 4 years of HR experience in lieu of degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
