About the role

The Quality Plant Manager is accountable for end‑to‑end quality performance at plant level, ensuring products, processes, and systems meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. The role leads the plant quality organization, drives continuous improvement, and represents quality internally and externally to enable right‑first‑time delivery and sustainable performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the plant quality organization, including team management, capability building, budgeting, and quality‑related CAPEX.
  • Own plant quality performance, monitoring and improving KPIs such as Cost of Poor Quality, customer claims, internal defects, and audit results.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, product standards, certifications, and internal quality management system requirements.
  • Act as the quality representative in plant leadership forums, management reviews, and cross‑functional decision‑making.
  • Lead quality assurance for new products, transfers, and engineering changes, including control plans, PFMEA, and capability validation.
  • Drive quality issue resolution, including customer complaints, supplier quality issues, root cause analysis, and 8D problem solving.
  • Embed continuous improvement and quality fundamentals (SPC, PDCA, standardization, defect prevention) across the plant value chain.

Who you are

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of post‑graduate experience in plant, site, or laboratory quality roles within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in quality management systems, standards, and audits (ISO 9001; ISO auditor experience preferred).
  • Proven experience with quality methodologies and tools (QA/QC, PFMEA, SPC, RCA, 8D).
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience leading teams and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset; Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in French and English, able to operate effectively in an international, matrix organization.
