PAY:  This position pays $22.50/hr 

 

SCHEDULE: 

  • NIGHT SHIFT ONLY AVAILABLE-- 645am-7pm ($22.50) 
  • WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THUR, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN
  • OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, Then REPEAT.
  • Only Work 15 days a month!!!!
  • Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND!!!!
  • One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
  • PAID BI-WEEKLY!
  • Total of 85.75 hours for a pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime) 

 

Our Line Operators are essential to our success. You will be responsible for physically operating an extrusion line to produce the highest attainable quality of pipe in a safe and efficient manner. This is what you’ll do: 

*Read the work order and perform set ups, change overs and adjustments for the order.

Properly monitors extrusion production including produced product, equipment, performs quality checks on product and maintains the coiling area
Assist to start reels, set up and monitors product for quality and conformity
Monitors operating parameters of product and extrusion equipment to confirm that product materials and quality requirements are being met
Maintains accurate documentation of all product dimensions on production reports and accurately tracks “Lost Production Hours” including the reasons for lost time
Ensures pipe is marked with proper print line as specified in the quality manual
Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment
Follows and complies with all company policies and procedures
Additional duties as required

 

This is what it takes: 

 

*MUST HAVE MACHINE OPERATOR EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED

*1-year manufacturing experience required

1-year extrusion machine operator experience preferred
Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently..Bi-lingual a Plus!

*Ability to perform simple math, and take measurements required

*Must be able to recognize colors
**Nice to have: Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, quality control standards, and product specifications

*Forklift experience is a plus

 

Occupational and/or Physical Requirements:
Understanding of paperwork procedures and documentation requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
Ability to spend up to 12 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery
Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects

 

“The compensation for this position is typically $22.50/Hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid company holidays, paid vacation time, paid sick time, parental leave, short- and long-term disability leave, and an employee assistance program. For Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad.
