IT Technical Lead

NewCo EPC/CPQ/COM

Design and implement the EPC/CPQ/COM capabilities by providing the best solutions and practices.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Proven experience as software developer/engineer and technical leader
  • Expertise in relevant technologies, programming languages, and tools
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, especially SAFe and Scrum
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
  • Fluent English

 

 

 

 

 

Your job

You will join the NewCo program to build greenfield state of the art IT Stack for our next generation digital products.

 

You will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the team, ensuring best practices in software configuration/development, and facilitating Agile/Scrum processes within a SAFe framework. The role involves collaboration with architects, product owners, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.

 

 

Your responsabilities

  • Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of software solutions
  • Collaborate with product owners and scrum teams to define technical requirements and user stories
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles and SAFe practices, including Program Increment (PI) planning, Scrum ceremonies, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and support team members in technical skills and Agile practices
  • Facilitate technical discussions, code reviews, and ensure code quality
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and impediments
  • Promote a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous learning
  • Coordinate with architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable and secure solutions
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards, best practices, and documentation

 

 

Technology

Understanding of these technologies is required to interact with the system and its defined interfaces.

  • Kafka (inc. understanding of messaging patterns, etc.)
  • PostgreSQL
  • Camunda 8 (BPMN, DMN & Camunda Job Worker client libraries)
  • REST (Swagger, OpenAPI)
  • OAuth 2 & JWT - Keycloak
  • XSD
  • YAML
  • SQL (Schema design, querying, etc. Also, for working with Q&O star-schema based analytics database)
  • Linux (Alpine Linux is used inside docker containers)
  • Git (e.g GitHub)

 

 

 

Programming

Product applications are built using these common programming languages and libraries. 

  • Java 17+ (Java 21 for Camunda Job Workers, and Java 21 for all applications next year)
  • JaxRS
  • FEEL
  • SQL & JDBC (e.g. using Mybatis)
  • Angular, NodeJS, Web Components (for Custom UI Development)

 

CI/CD

  • Kubernetes
  • Git (e.g GitHub)
  • Maven
  • Docker
  •  

Templating

These tools are injected into system components to form custom integration transforms and define email and quote templates.

Your team

You will join the team mainly based in Bangalore with stakeholders in several countries

The teams is currently composed of two scrum teams within the ART « Shop and Contract » of the NewCo Portfolio.
