About the role

The Project Management function at Orange Business is undergoing a significant transformation, aimed at enhancing our presales capabilities. We are focused on developing a streamlined end-to-end Project Management Process, supported by the ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) tool. This tool will serve as the primary workstation for our presales team, project managers, and other stakeholders, facilitating efficient project management and customer engagement.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and management of Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, ensuring that our submissions are compelling and meticulously aligned with customer requirements. Your expertise will be essential in enhancing our competitive edge in the market.

Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately calculating both project management efforts and comprehensive project efforts. You will actively engage in customer negotiations and deliver impactful presentations that resonate with client needs. Your proficiency in documentation and presales tools, particularly in Demand Management within ServiceNow SPM, will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes.

As the Project Management - Presales Practice Specialist, you will work closely with the presales team and other stakeholders to ensure that project efforts align with customer needs and business objectives. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical implementation and business requirements, ensuring that solutions are delivered in line with the overall product vision. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • RFP Response Management: Lead the creation and management of RFP responses, ensuring all documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their project management needs, pain points, and expectations. Engage in effective negotiations to establish project terms and deliverables.
  • Solution Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of project management capabilities and tailored solutions that address specific customer requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support during the presales process, addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to project management methodologies and tools.
  • Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to develop strategies for winning new business and expanding existing accounts, ensuring alignment of project management efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform presales strategies and enhance proposal quality.
  • Documentation and Proposal Writing: Create and maintain high-quality documentation related to project management processes and presales activities, ensuring clear communication of project requirements and updates to stakeholders.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to extended teams on project management features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in project management practices and presales processes. Implement best practices to enhance future project delivery.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze presales performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

About you

Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, presales, or a related role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and customer engagement.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, with experience in presales environments preferred.
  • Proven experience in RFP response creation and management, with a focus on developing winning proposals.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM and other presales tools; proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project) is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess project efforts and resource allocation.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Project Management - Presales Practice role will involve close collaboration with the presales team, project managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role may require occasional travel for client meetings, presentations, and workshops, depending on organizational needs
