About the role

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Global Service Owner to oversee and optimize the delivery of IT services through our strategic partner on a worldwide scale. This role requires a deep understanding of ITIL, ITSM, Agile methodologies, and a focus on operations strategy, governance, and project management. The successful candidate will ensure service delivery aligns with organizational goals, contractual commitments, and industry best practices, driving continuous improvement and high quality of service (QoS).

About you

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strategic partnership with the service provider, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and ITIL/ITSM best practices.
  • Lead operational strategy, governance, and compliance initiatives to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all regions.
  • Monitor and report on service performance, SLAs, and KPIs using tools like ServiceNow, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements leveraging ITIL and Agile methodologies to enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage contractual relationships, including negotiations, performance reviews, and issue resolution, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Coordinate global service delivery activities, ensuring consistency, compliance, and adherence to high QoS standards.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to implement new services or improve existing ones, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the service domain.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in IT service delivery, operations, or related roles, with a focus on governance of outsourced or partner-delivered services.
  • Strong expertise in ITIL, ITSM, Agile, and project management methodologies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM platform.
  • Excellent partnership, stakeholder, and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and governance capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Agile/Scrum are preferred.
