Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.37068)
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Backend object-oriented programming languages (Java, Python);
2. Containers and container orchestration technologies (CI/CD) like docker and kubernetes;
3. Designing RESTful APIs;
4. Microservices environment and/or designing microservices;
5. Cloud Engineering (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI);
6. Development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications; and,
7. Experience with enterprise, distributed, scalable and cloud-native software systems.
