About this role

Network Operations & Incident Management
 Serve as the escalation point for complex network incidents, driving rapid
troubleshooting and resolution to restore services.
 Lead major incident bridges and coordinate with, infrastructure and application
teams for timely recovery and root cause identification.
 Perform detailed post-incident analysis, document findings, and implement
preventive actions.
 Maintain network up time as the highest operational priority through proactive
monitoring and corrective measures.
 Participate in on-call rotations, providing support during weekends or global
coverage periods as needed.
 Collaborate with the Global Operations Center to continuously refine detection,
escalation, and resolution processes.  

 

Network Design, Implementation & Lifecycle Management
 Support design, build, and configuration of network infrastructure across onpremises and cloud environments.
 Plan and execute network migrations, upgrades, and maintenance activities in
alignment with change management processes.
 Configure and maintain routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing devices
as per organizational standards.
 Maintain up-to-date documentation including network topology diagrams,
MOPs, and runbooks

 

Operational Excellence & Reliability
 Monitor network performance, capacity, and health metrics to ensure optimal
operation and minimal downtime.
 Collaborate with vendors (Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Netscaler) for software
updates, bug resolution, and performance improvements.
 Support and enforce configuration standards, operational policies, and security
controls.
 Contribute to problem management, trend analysis, and continuous
improvement initiatives for network reliability.


Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
 Work as NetOps & NOC member to improve incident triage and escalation
efficiency.
 Work with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Security, and Platform Engineering)
to support seamless network operations.
 Mentor junior engineers and NOC members, enhancing troubleshooting and
operational skills. 

Participate in service transition reviews and ensure new deployments meet
operational readiness standards.  

 

Required Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
equivalent hands-on experience.
 5+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise and network
environments.
 Strong hands-on experience with:
o Cisco Routing and Switching (IOS, NX-OS)
o Firewalls: Cisco ASA and Palo Alto
o Load Balancers: F5 LTM/GTM or Citrix Netscaler
o Data Center Networking: Cisco ACI fabric configuration and
operations
 Solid understanding of core network protocols and technologies including
TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs.
 Strong experience in network troubleshooting, incident management, and
change control processes.
 Exposure to network monitoring and management tools ).
 Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions during
high-severity incidents.
